We really believe that our tea is the best in the world – and as such, we try our best to honor everyone involved. This means promoting sustainability; paying fair prices; and meeting environmental standards through Fair Trade practices. 

It’s a simple formula we follow: the best tea artisans growing the best tea in the world for the best customers – you!

Fair Trade - many of Verde Teas are sold under the fair trade banner. This social movement advocated the payment of affair price for a wide variety of goods. Verde tea believes in financially supporting the cultures and people who work hard to grow our teas.

Verde is very proud to be aligned with the Ethical Tea Partnership. ETP is committed to ensuring excellent working conditions and standards of living in tea growing communities. Much of ETP’s work is done through their mentorship program providing robust minimum requirements in all areas of labour practices.

REAP is an association of Calgary based business that are concerned with issues of sustainability. Reaps mission is to help its partners influence the world around them by encouraging choices that have positive consequences.

In addition to supporting the above organizations Verde has taken the initiative to support a multitude of non-profit charities in an effort to close the gap between third world conditions and western standards of living.
